First let’s start with the main question. What our habits? Habits are unconscious behaviors that we do daily or at least very often on auto pilot.
What are habits and how do they affect entrepreneurship
They’re the actions that are ingrained in us so deeply that we don’t even have to think to act them out. Most times we don’t even notice when we’re in doing them and whether the’re are bad or good this is just the way it is.
So what does that mean for us as entrepreneurs? It means you must be very careful that our habits are not working against us when it comes to our progression and health.
Most habits are small things like the way we walk, talk, eat, drive or even unwind. There’re small to us because everyone does them and to us it’s just a part of everyday life. But it’s the little things like coffee everyday, smoking, or not speaking up and expressing ourselves that compound and comes back later to bite us later.
It can also be running, going to the gym, listening to music or watching videos and movies. It all affects us Long term. But I’m not here to tell you which ones are bad or good for you I’ll let you be the judge of that.
All I know is Little habits become big results weather it’s bad or good results so be careful. With that being said it’s important to take time to step back and observe our behaviors or habits before they cause permanent damage in our personal lives or in our business.
How to change bad habits as an entrepreneur
The easiest way to change them to good ones is to replace them with something else. Based off experience, approaching it that way is a-lot more effective than just cutting them out without a replacement.
