Have you ever heard of the 80/20 rule? It’s when you can recognize that 80% of your results comes from 20% of the activities. This theory applies to anything. If you’re interested in reading a good book on this topic you can find it (Here).
Now let’s apply that idea to entrepreneurship. As entrepreneurs especially when we are just starting off we tend to spend a-lot of time doing things that doesn’t really matter for our self growth or our business growth.
We buy all these tools, sometimes hire all these people and do all these fancy things for nothing. In might make us feel good at the time but most of these things doesn’t really improve our business that much. I was also guilty of this.
What we should be doing this taking the time to find out what the most important factors of our business is and looking into what drives that 80% of results and who are the most important people that make it happen.
So we then we can focus on the income producing activities. Yes, it’s going to take some testing with trial and error and finding out what we should be drilling in on, but once we find out we should be doubling down on those areas over and over again.
It’s the only way to find gold in your business. The treasure is in the income producing activities. I hope you found this helpful and that you’re able to successfully implement these methods to scale your business to a better place.
Wishing you all the best. Your friend, The Frivilo Entrepreneur.
